The total framework of funding for the whole period 2001-2006 was approximately 74,2 million EUR. The public funding of the Euregio Karelia Neighbourhood programme totaled approximately 22,0 million EUR during the years 2005-2006. The share of EU funding was approximately 12,1 million EUR (Interreg 8,1 million EUR and Tacis 4,0 million EUR). The national public funding totaled approximately 9,9 million EUR. In addition, private funding was bound to the projects.
